Roll Up Your Sleeves & Discover the Unexpected at a Restoration Workday in Spring Bluff Forest Preserve! Hosted by the Lake Plain Coalition. No experience necessary! We will guide you through the process. Children 10+ welcome with an adult.
Thursday July 30, 9 - 11 am
This workday we will pull and bag sweet clover, scout for crown vetch, girdle trembling aspen saplings, and potentially collect seed to spread within the Preserve at a later date.
What to Bring: Friends and loved ones, work gloves, and water to stay hydrated.
What to Wear: Dress for the weather. Closed-toe shoes required. Long pants and muck boots or hiking boots that can get wet/muddy recommended. Note: Site has uneven terrain and ticks are present.
Where to Go: Please park in the North Point Marina parking lot. Participants will meet the workday leader off 7th Street at the southern trail entrance a few minutes before 9 AM.
